Advances in sustainable manufacturing are based on six different elements which are reduce, redesign, reuse, recover, remanufacturing, and recycle. Over the last few decades, the issue on sustainability has shown substantial growth and become the essential areas in many engineering and industrial applications. Although the growth is there, there are still a gap that can be seen between the theory and practice when it arrives at the holistically integrating sustainability.

The present book covered recent advances in sustainable manufacturing and topics are centred on artificial intelligence based on sustainable manufacturing, practice of artificial intelligence in welding and additive manufacturing, biomachining of Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans microorganisms with titanium by using powder metallurgy, and many more interesting chapters.
