Entitled BRIS Soil: Formation, Properties and Utilisation the book is written to describe and discuss the geology of BRIS landscape, formation of BRIS Soils, their physic-chemical properties, classification and management for crop cultivation. The crops include vegetables, kenaf, tobacco, cashew nut, oil palm and rubber. Recent advances in agricultural innovations or agro-technology packages obtained from R&D on BRIS Soils in Malaysia are highlighted. The last chapter concerns with further R&D needed to enhance the productivity of the infertile BRIS Soils for sustainable crop production. 153 pages
