Leadership Matrix

Yee Choy Leong is a multi-discipline researcher in the areas of strategy, operations and technology management. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He also holds an Advanced Diploma in Marketing Management with distinction from University of Wales in the UK and an MBA from Heriot-Wabb University. He studied in the University of Cambridge for his PhD and majored in strategy and performance. He also involves in corporate braining for many business and governmental organizations in bhe areas of strategic management, project management, quality management, supply chain management, technology roadmapping and performance measurement system. He is currently a Senior Lecturer ab Universiti Putra Malaysia. He uses action research methodology to conduct many practical research in business.
This book provides a new leadership matrix to help corporate leaders bo identify their leadership style. lt also provides a self-diagnostic test for leaders to identify their own leadership style. Knowing your leadership styles is important for maximizing your potential and capabilities as a leader. This book provides practical examples from live industrial settings. This book also provides structured steps of the application of the matrix. The test can be repeated again and again from time to time in order to provides continuous feedbacks to leader about their changes in style. Transformation guidelines are also provided for leadership style changes in order to suit the fast changing business environment. The leadership matrix is strongly grounded on two theories: Resource-Based View and Market-Based View, thus is suitable for both managers and academics
