Soil Mechanics Laboratory Tests for Civil Engineering Undergraduates

The main objective of this book is to meet the need of Bachelor of Civil Engineering students in conducting their laboratory works in Soil Mechanics. There are two main parts consist in this book. Part One explained about the step-by-step procedure on how to conduct the particular soil test. This is follow by the calculation and data analysis section for each test which include questions to test students’ understanding on test done. Part Two consists data sheet in form of tables and graphs. The unique feature of this part is the blank section provided in each test for the students to fill up during the laboratory session in order to create an effective method in learning process. The book is also a useful reference for practitioners (soil engineers and soil lab technicians). Those data obtained from the laboratory works and field tests are important for engineering analysis especially in Civil Engineering practice.
